About Our Soaps

  1. What makes BelleSH Natural Skin Rituals soaps different from commercial soaps? BelleSH Natural Skin Rituals soaps are handcrafted using the traditional cold process method. Each bar is made in small batches with carefully selected oils, butters, botanical ingredients, and skin-loving additives to create a rich, creamy, and nourishing cleansing experience.
  2. Are your soaps handmade? Yes. Every bar is handmade in small batches, hand-poured, hand-cut, and carefully cured to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality soap.
  3. What is cold process soap? Cold process soap is a traditional soap-making method where oils and Sodium Hydroxide (lye) undergo a natural chemical reaction called saponification. After curing, no active lye remains in properly made soap.
  4. How long does your soap need to cure? Our soaps are cured for approximately 6–8 weeks before being ready for use. This allows excess water to evaporate, creating a harder, longer-lasting bar with a better lather.

Ingredients & Skin Feel

  1. Are your soaps suitable for sensitive skin? Our formulas are designed to be gentle and nourishing, especially those containing ingredients like colloidal oatmeal, goat's milk, botanical oils, and soothing clays. However, everyone's skin is unique, so we recommend checking the ingredient list if you have known sensitivities.
  2. Do your soaps contain natural ingredients? We carefully select natural and naturally derived ingredients whenever possible, including plant oils, botanical infusions, clays, milk powders, and essential oils.
  3. Are your soaps fragrance-free? Some of our soaps are scented with essential oils, while others focus more on botanical ingredients. Please review each product description for specific ingredients and scent information.
  4. Do your soaps help with dark spots, acne marks, or uneven skin tone? Our soaps contain ingredients traditionally used in skincare routines, such as licorice root, turmeric, niacinamide, and botanical extracts. They are designed to support the appearance of brighter, smoother, and more even-looking skin. Results vary depending on individual skin type and routine.

Usage & Care

  1. How should I use my handcrafted soap? Wet the soap, create a creamy lather between your hands or with a washcloth, apply to skin, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid contact with eyes.
  2. How can I make my soap last longer? Allow your soap to dry between uses. Keep it on a draining soap dish or soap saver so water does not collect underneath the bar.
  3. Can I use your soap on my face? Many customers enjoy using gentle handmade soaps on their face; however, facial skin varies from person to person. We recommend performing a patch test first and choosing a bar suited to your skin needs.
  4. Why does my handmade soap look slightly different from another bar? Because our soaps are handcrafted in small batches, slight variations in color, texture, or appearance may occur. These unique differences are part of the handmade process.

Orders & Shipping

  1. How long does it take to process my order? Our handcrafted soaps are carefully made, packed, and prepared with care. In-stock items: Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days before shipping. Pre-order items: If your order includes a pre-order soap, please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for production, curing, and quality checks before your order ships. Note: If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, your entire order will ship together once the pre-order items are ready. If you'd like your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.
  2. Do you offer free shipping? Yes! Free shipping is available on U.S. orders of $65 or more, on the 12-Bar Ultimate Ritual Set, and during eligible promotional events. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories may not qualify unless specifically stated. International orders are not eligible for free shipping.
  3. How will my soap be packed? Each bar is carefully packaged to protect its quality while minimizing unnecessary materials.
  4. Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? We begin preparing orders as quickly as possible, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes — the sooner the better. We'll do our best to accommodate requests made before the order has been processed or shipped.

Product Information

  1. Are your soaps FDA approved? Cosmetic products, including handcrafted soaps, are not individually approved by the FDA before being sold. BelleSH Natural Skin Rituals follows responsible cosmetic practices and focuses on safe formulation, proper labeling, and quality ingredients.
  2. Are your products tested on animals? No. BelleSH Natural Skin Rituals does not test products on animals.
  3. Do you offer refunds or returns? Due to the nature of personal care products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any items — opened, unopened, used, or unused — for hygiene and safety reasons. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right. See our full Return & Refund Policy for details.
  4. How long do your soaps last? When stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, our handcrafted soaps typically have a shelf life of approximately 12–18 months after curing.
